Amongst other strange things which the old man was in the habit of recounting was, that he had seen Peel in tears about the Duke of Wellington, and the Duke of Wellington in tears about Peel. Another of our subject to-night was the Metaphysical Society. The Bishop said that the two men whose metaphysical powers had struck him most at our meetings were Dalgairns and Martineau.
