National Strategy On Community Safety And Crime Prevention PDF Download

Treasury Board has requested the Dept. of Justice to submit an evaluation framework for the National Strategy on Community Safety and Crime Prevention, a framework needed prior to approval of funding. The general purposes of the framework are to present the objectives, activities, outputs, and intended impacts of the Strategy; to describe the causal relationships between the components, objectives, and intended impacts; to describe linkages between units and departments responsible for carrying out Strategy activities; and to explore major issues which would be included in an evaluation of the Strategy. This report presents the framework, logic models for the Strategy and each component, evaluation design, issues to be addressed in the evaluation, and the associated data sources and data collection methods.
