Our Extra Large Print Word Search Books Are PERFECT For Anyone With Vision Problems! When we decided to make a series of extra large word search books we never dreamed how many lives we would touch. We have received so many glowing reviews from people that bought them for a loved one that had vision problems like macular degenration or are legally blind and it makes us so happy that we can bring a little joy into their lives. If my Mom were still with us she would be smiling as the idea came from her frustration with store bought large print word search puzzle books. You see, the print in those books just wasn't large enough for her failing eyes so I designed a series of "Extra Large" word find books for her and she was thrilled when we gave her our first one. This fun book is a little different. Instead of word clues there are delicious dessert recipes with 20 words BOLDED that are the clues: There are 50 dessert recipe based puzzles with 20 words BOLDED in each recipe. The left page has the recipe with BOLDED word clues and is the largest font possible for an 8.5 x 11 book! The right page has the puzzle which also fills the entire page. The answers to the puzzles are all full-page and conveniently placed in the back and numbered to match the actual puzzles; Puzzle 1, Puzzle 2, etc. I am confident that even those with the poorest eyesight will be able to work these extra large word search puzzles. Just do a "Look Inside" to see how large the clues and puzzles are and then order one for yourself or a loved one today!

Pastry chef David Lebovitz is known for creating desserts with bold and high-impact flavor, not fussy, complicated presentations. Lucky for us, this translates into showstopping sweets that bakers of all skill levels can master. In Ready for Dessert, elegant finales such as Gâteau Victoire, Black Currant Tea Crème Brûlée, and Anise-Orange Ice Cream Profiteroles with Chocolate Sauce are as easy to prepare as comfort foods such as Plum-Blueberry Upside-Down Cake, Creamy Rice Pudding, and Cheesecake Brownies. With his unique brand of humor—and a fondness for desserts with “screaming chocolate intensity”—David serves up a tantalizing array of more than 170 recipes for cakes, pies, tarts, crisps, cobblers, custards, soufflés, puddings, ice creams, sherbets, sorbets, cookies, candies, dessert sauces, fruit preserves, and even homemade liqueurs. David reveals his three favorites: a deeply spiced Fresh Ginger Cake; the bracing and beautiful Champagne Gelée with Kumquats, Grapefruits, and Blood Oranges; and his chunky and chewy Chocolate Chip Cookies. His trademark friendly guidance, as well as suggestions, storage advice, flavor variations, and tips will help ensure success every time. Accompanied with stunning photos by award-winning photographer Maren Caruso, this new compilation of David’s best recipes to date will inspire you to pull out your sugar bin and get baking or churn up a batch of homemade ice cream. "Dessert First is a beautiful novel about breaking and mending, what we lose and how we try to save. Kat's story is moving and bittersweet, and I couldn't put it down." --Ally Condie, #1 New York Times bestselling author of the Matched trilogy and Summerlost Upbeat--that's Kat, the girl in the family who everyone turns to when things get difficult. Especially now, when her beloved younger brother Beep is in his second leukemia relapse, and a bone marrow transplant from Kat may be his only chance. But Kat's worried that she and her bone marrow may not be up to the job: She can't even complete homework, and she's facing other rejection--lost friendships, a lost spot on the soccer team, and lots of heartache from her crush on her former best friend, Evan. Kat doesn't know if her bone marrow will save Beep, or whether she can save herself, let alone keep her promise to Beep that she'll enjoy life and always eat dessert first. Dessert First is a funny, moving story about coping, appreciating sweetness, and learning to forgive.

A New York Times Best Illustrated Book From highly acclaimed author Jenkins and Caldecott Medal–winning illustrator Blackall comes a fascinating picture book in which four families, in four different cities, over four centuries, make the same delicious dessert: blackberry fool. This richly detailed book ingeniously shows how food, technology, and even families have changed throughout American history. In 1710, a girl and her mother in Lyme, England, prepare a blackberry fool, picking wild blackberries and beating cream from their cow with a bundle of twigs. The same dessert is prepared by an enslaved girl and her mother in 1810 in Charleston, South Carolina; by a mother and daughter in 1910 in Boston; and finally by a boy and his father in present-day San Diego. Kids and parents alike will delight in discovering the differences in daily life over the course of four centuries. Includes a recipe for blackberry fool and notes from the author and illustrator about their research.
