Minutes Of The Annual Meeting Of The Synod Of Iowa PDF Download

This series contains a copy of the 1920 constitution of the Mission Auxiliary of the Evangelical Lutheran Synod of Iowa and Other States (Iowa Synod) and minutes from its meetings from 1916-1930. The constitution outlines the name, purpose, membership, officers and their duties, and official publications of the auxiliary. It appears the auxiliary met annually at the same time as the annual meeting for the Iowa Synod itself. It also held additional meetings throughout the year in at least in six of the years it was in existence within the Iowa Synod. Only 1916, 1917, 1919-1920, 1923, 1928 have minutes from more than one meeting. Minutes and the constitution are in German.
