The sweeping, dramatic finale of Swati Teerdhala’s South India-inspired fantasy trilogy rounds out the epic, romantic tale of an assassin and a soldier fighting to save their country and their people. Perfect for fans of Sabaa Tahir and Victoria Aveyard. A queen at last. An empty palace. A kingdom to save. Esha is reeling from Kunal’s betrayal, but she has a kingdom to rule from behind a thin smokescreen—pretending to be Princess Reha while she sends her most trusted soldiers to collect Reha and Kunal by any means necessary. Traitors, after all, must be punished. But the Yavar are attacking from every front—tracking down Kunal and Reha in the remote mountains, kidnapping Harun—in search of legendary artifacts that will give them the power to break the precarious janma bond and release the destructive magic back into the lands. Now that the race is on to find the missing artifacts, Esha must put aside her rage and work with Kunal again—but can she find the strength to forgive him, or will the Viper have her revenge at any cost?

I’ve never really thought how it would feel to die. I didn’t expect death’s cold embrace encroaching upon me – nor did I realize how quickly the agony would spread throughout my entire body. My acute vision was failing and my surroundings were becoming a spinning blur of colors. I shook my head, trying to clear it, and my movements were suddenly sluggish. I blinked fiercely, trying to clear my vision and saw the crater of a once hulking figure in front of me. A pained cough sounded to my left, and I glanced over and saw the tall form of Mark. His clothes were soaked with blood, and he clutched at a massive hole in his chest as it poured blood. He looked at me. His eyes went to my chest and widened, before he doubled over, coughing up blood. I felt panic for my friend, but the girls were safe. I then felt a warm trickle down my stomach, and I looked down in horror. A hole was burrowed deep in my chest and squirting blood. I doubled over with coughing spasms and blood spat from my mouth. My knees buckled and I fell on my back, hearing screams from far off. My vision was dimming as I choked on blood. I struggled to stay conscious, but it was like holding up the world. “Janet” was the last word I spoke before succumbing to the darkness.

Kyra walks a precarious line. Though she’s captured James and thwarted his schemes, she’s keenly aware that she remains an outsider in the Palace. Her past taints everything she hopes for, including her budding relationship with Tristam, whose highborn pedigree could not be more different from her own. As Kyra struggles to find her footing, new dangers arise. An unfamiliar Demon Rider clan crosses the mountains, threatening not just Kyra but those she holds most dear. Meanwhile, power struggles within the Council highlight Forge’s class divisions. As injustice after injustice are brought to light, Kyra wonders if she’s chosen the wrong side. The assassin James, though imprisoned in the dungeon, still seems to wield power. And Kyra finds herself drawn back to him. Then there’s the secret she dares not tell, the truth of her heritage that tempts and frightens her at the same time. Kyra’s Demon Rider blood calls to her, but does she dare awaken it? As enemies stalk Forge from within and without, Kyra must decide once and for all where her loyalties lie, what she’ll fight for, and how far she’ll go to save those she loves.

DawnDusk Asymmetries in Planetary Plasma Environments Dawn-dusk asymmetries are ubiquitous features of the plasma environment of many of the planets in our solar system. They occur when a particular process or feature is more pronounced at one side of a planet than the other. For example, recent observations indicate that Earth's magnetopause is thicker at dawn than at dusk. Likewise, auroral breakups at Earth are more likely to occur in the pre-midnight than post-midnight sectors. Increasing availability of remotely sensed and in situ measurements of planetary ionospheres, magnetospheres and their interfaces to the solar wind have revealed significant and persistent dawn-dusk asymmetries. As yet there is no consensus regarding the source of many of these asymmetries, nor the physical mechanisms by which they are produced and maintained. Volume highlights include: A comprehensive and updated overview of current knowledge about dawn-dusk asymmetries in the plasma environments of planets in our solar system and the mechanisms behind them Valuable contributions from internationally recognized experts, covering both observations, simulations and theories discussing all important aspects of dawn-dusk asymmetries Space weather effects are caused by processes in space, mainly the magnetotail, and can be highly localized on ground. Knowing where the source, i.e., where dawn-dusk location is will allow for a better prediction of where the effects on ground will be most pronounced Covering both observational and theoretical aspects of dawn dusk asymmetries, Dawn-Dusk Asymmetries in Planetary Plasma Environments will be a valuable resource for academic researchers in space physics, planetary science, astrophysics, physics, geophysics and earth science.
