One of these exceptions is the State of Rhoda Island. whose registration report, since 1895, has placed pneumonia. where it belongs among the communicable diseases. in Michigan deaths from pneumonia are subject to the same regulations relating to the transportation of corpses as deaths from typhoid fever, and the tendency is to extend the methods of restriction found applicable to the otherinfectious diseases to pneumonia.
