Download Sex Guide for Couples Book in PDF, ePub and Kindle
A biologist who studies human sexual behavior is being asked to read a lot of upcoming books - warning, supernatural, religious, naive, conventional, and even downright ignorant. They all have a purpose to be useful, and none of them provide the correct key. This book is based initially on the experiences of one couple. One of them is a medical practitioner, their anonymity is thus professional. The final text included suggestions from a few more couples plus a few experts. The main idea surprised me with its uniqueness. A cookbook is a sophisticated and worry-free list of possible meals (culinary fantasy and basic diets), complete with practical details. This book contains a similar listing of the complete repertoire of human heterosexuality. She, as such, was very late. The cookbook tells the novice how to handle a live lobster, or what to do when the mayonnaise splits, how to fix the chateaubriand. The authors of this book describe, going into all the details, without too much expression and with a sense of humor, what to do with impotence, or premature ejaculation, how to perform oral sex, how to play symbolically aggressive games, how to treat a partner who craves "discipline", how not to be embarrassed by fetishes, how to use fancy clothes as sexual stimulants.A decent number of professional consultants answer such questions - when clients have the courage to ask them - if not with psychiatric and moral anxiety, then at least without going into details. Doctors may not be sufficiently aware of your needs from their sexual experience, and none of them have an adequate understanding of the range and variety of human sexual behavior. I would have liked to have read a recipe book like this when I was a medical student.I changed very little in the original edition of the book, suggesting only to expand the range of topics; the author's expressive means and their light style are left unchanged. where explanations are needed (and explanations in matters that are conditionally disturbing help), they introduce deep psychology without any jargon. This is the correct approach at the present moment, when primatology and classical human psychoanalyst seem to be reaching out to each other; I can be blamed for some explanatory biology. It is difficult to create something really new in the field of "sex education". The permissive society permits everything from annoying warnings to eccentric pornography. Most bookstores offer a stream of "frank", under-answered books and "consulting" magazines based on impractical if not pathological fantasy. It's time to reach out to adult readers with a sense of humanity and experience.I hope this book will be of equal use to both professional consultants and couples; but there is also an ordinary, sexually active reader - preoccupied with both receiving sexual pleasure and taking responsibility for it - and he will gain the most.
