Master Plan Report Grant County Indiana PDF Download

Based upon a review of existing conditions and the findings of the Planning Studies, a Comprehensive Plan was prepared for the incorporated area of the City of Marion. This plan updates a 1958 Plan for the City, and is coordinated with a Master Plan for Grant County, adopted in 1969, and a Sewer and Water Plan for Grant County, adopted in 1971. The Master Plan consists of four elements--Land use Plan, Major Streets and Highways Plan, Community Facilities Plan and Sewer and Water Plan. Special attention has been given to the relationship of transportation routes, community facilities and utilities to the land use proposals in the overall development of the City.
