Valeries' Search for Mother is shared with a generosity of spirit which evocatively tells of her deep heart longing to connect with the who and why of mother: the mother we have, the mother we long for, the mother we become, and the mother we long to be, and to unravel the divine orchestration of mother –daughter relationship. From this longing, and through the opportunities she's had to share yoga birthing with women around the world, she began to write Search for Mother. Search for Mother is written in three trimesters, reflecting the growing foetus, the growing of a woman into mother, and the growing need for peaceful connection to mother. The writing took her to Portugal, the place of her maternal lineage - this story has become Trimester 1. And to America to study hypnotherapy and it's significance in unraveling mother. Here she had the priveledge and blessing to meet with like minded practitioners. This sharing of knowledge became Trimester 2, a body of medical and yoga information honouring the emotional and spiritual journey into motherhood, with contributions from birth workers in America, India and Australia. Also here, seven women tell of their search for connection to mother. In Trimester 3, the body talks of its' experience of “mother searching” through yoga, dreams, de ja vu, and past life meanderings. The search interweaves poetry, prose, storytelling, interview and yoga practice. Valerie discoveres that the love – rejection, disconnection - connection duality toward mother, lives in the hearts of women everywhere, and more profoundly, that mother hearts keep loving whilst holding the aching yearning for connection, despite disconnection. Crucially, Search for Mother offers women ways to come to peace and acceptance toward their mother and toward becoming mother, while also offering birthing practitioners and health organizations ways to support and assist women in their emotional and spiritual metamorphis into mother. “I offer you my “Search for Mother”, and truly hope it finds a place in yours, so you may find her, move closer to her and live peacefully with her during birthing and beyond”…Valerie Albrecht

What she doesn't know is that her sister, Nebula, is in hot pursuit. Nebula has followed Gamora to Torndune in hopes of claiming the planet's heart first and shaming her sister as vengeance for the part she played in Nebula losing her arm. While Gamora falls in with a group of miners attempting to overthrow the tyrannical mining corporation that controls their lives, Nebula allies herself with the Universal Church of Truth, whose missionaries wait on every street corner to recruit more followers and tithes for the Matriarch. Both sisters hope their alliance will give them access to one of the massive diggers capable of drilling to the center of the planet. But they closer they get to the heart of the planet—and to each other—the closer they get to uncovering the truth of what brought them there and the role they may unknowingly be playing in a twisted competition with galactic consequences. This written account of the Symposium on Planetary Nebulae was prepared from manuscripts submitted by the participants. Nearly every paper that was presented at the meeting is reproduced here, in either complete or abbreviated form. The dis cussions have been somewhat shortened and rearranged, but we have tried to preserve the essential points and the general tenor of the exchanges. Participants who spoke in the discussion were asked immediately for written remarks, which were then edited, reproduced, and circulated at the meeting by the highly effective local Secretariat organized by Dr Perek. In addition, notes of the discussion taken by Mrs Edith F. Swan and by the undersigned were used. We wish to thank all the authors for their unusually good cooperation. We are especially grateful to Dr Minkowski, who kindly provided many excellent repro ductions of Mount Wilson and Palomar photographs, mostly taken by himself, of various planetary nebulae. We are particularly indebted to Mrs Swan, who attended the Symposium, made notes on the papers and discussions as they occurred, and did much of the checking and editing of the manuscripts. In addition, we are very grateful to Mrs Evelyn Seaver, who also did much of the checking, editing, and retyping of manuscripts, and to Dr B.L. Webster, Miss Rebecca Todd, Mr Joseph Tapscott, and Mr Dennis Schatz, who provided excellent assistance in the preparation of this volume.
