This short story collection contains the following 6 stories: The little blue riding hood and the treasure of Oceania. The little green riding rood and the cloud castle. The little red riding hood and the pancakes mountain. The little yellow riding hood and the temple of Takoseth The little pink riding hood and the magic lamp. The little riding white hood saves Christmas. From the The little green riding rood and the cloud castle: "Once upon a time in a distant lush, green forest, there lived a young girl named Liliane. This pretty little brunette with vibrant eyes was known throughout the village where she lived as the little green riding hood. This was due to the fact that she always wore her green hooded jacket. She loved it more than anything. But it wasn't the only object she loved enormously! In fact, she loved the bow and arrows her grandmother had given her when she was very young. In fact, her grandmother was also an outstanding archer! Grandma had won tons of contests. Partly because of this, she was Liliane's role model. When Liliane was little Grandma taught her how to shoot. And every day, Liliane practiced shooting at the middle of targets she had set up everywhere in the forest, near her cabin. As she was very skilled, she rarely missed her target! Aside from archery, the other activity Liliane loved the most was jumping from tree to tree throughout the forest. She knew how to climb very high to the treetops and from there, she would admire the immense forest that surrounded her village. It is important to mention that Liliane came from a treehouse village and the vast majority of houses were built directly around the tree trunks. And her house was one of the most beautiful in the village! Liliane always took time to help her parents with chores to keep it clean and beauteous. She was also very proud to have chosen the color of the shutters, pale green, to adorn the windows. One morning, her mother asked her to go to the lake to fetch water and as Little Green Riding Hood was a very helpful little girl, she quickly set out."

Download The Real True Stories of the Fairy Tales Book in PDF, ePub and Kindle
In this book, The Old Steam Engine, who knows the real stories of what really happened in those fairy tales we all hear, tries to set the record straight. He is, in fact, the real Little Engine that Couldnt. When a little girl named Regan happens upon the old steam engine, he is an abandoned and broken down steam engine. But he begins to speak to her. He tells her that she has heard the wrong stories about what happened to people like Little Green Riding Hood and Snow Purple. He tells the little girl that Little Green Riding Hood was not helpless and did not need a woodsman to save her. So, too, Snow Purple did not need to marry a prince. The real stories of the fairy tales tell children that real people are the heroes of the stories. The uniqueness of the stories appeals to adults as well as children so that the adults reading the stories will find them fun to read and to discuss with the children.
