Frederick Leiby (1695-1760), his wife and four children, emigrated from Switzerland in 1733 and settled in Pennsylvania. At least one and perhaps three other children were born in Pennsylvania. The family was living at Greenwich Township, Berks County, Pennsylvania, by 1754. His grandson, Frederick Leiby (1768-1846), son of George Michael Leiby (1723-1808), married Anna Margaret Lambert (1768-1837). They had seven children. The family lived in Perry County, Pennsylvania. Descendants listed lived in Pennsylvania and elsewhere.

They were the parents of at least six children. He married Barbara Kern 15 May 1655. She was born ca. 1624, the daughter of Barthel Kern. She died in 1666. They were the parents of five children. He married Anna Margaretha Scheppler 28 Jan 1668. He died 20 Apr 1684. Descendants immigrated to America ca. 1743.

Johann Melchior Kuney was born in about 1731 possibly in Kaiserslautern, Germany. He was probably the son of Benjamin Kuney and Anna Maria Bender. He was living in Pine Grove Township, Berks County, Pennsylvania by 1754. He married Anna Maria in about 1765. They had eight sons, and possibly one daughter. He died in about 1806 in Cumberland County. Descendants and relatives lived mainly in Pennsylvania and New York.
