The authors report preliminary results from a study of [Lambda]° polarization in the exclusive reaction pp 2!p{sub f} ([Lambda]° K) at 800 GeV/c. These data are a part of the 5 x 109 diffractive event sample collected by Fermilab E690. They observe a large dependence of the polarization on the [Lambda]° K invariant mass. This observation confirms the result of the CERN ISR R608 experiment and extends the range over which the effect is observed.
