Download THE KA-BAR KNIFE COMBAT MANUAL Book in PDF, ePub and Kindle
The United States Marine Corps does not have this manual-or any manual on the combat use of the Ka-Bar knife. This, however, is not because they lack a structured knife combat method for training new recruits, or because the method is in any way secret or classified. They have a structured method, and it's not secret or classified. They just don't teach from a manual! Why? Simply because Marine Combat Instructors have their knife combat method internalized. They can teach it in their sleep, they can use the knife without even waking up-and they want Marine recruits to know this method in the same manner. Not to learn it-to internalize it. To own it! Because they won't have a manual with them when they need this knowledge to save their lives. Learn what they already know!

Is it possible that the “War on Drugs” is a sham? Is it possible that there is no war and that a group of rogue intelligence agency thugs really run the business to “protect the foreign interests” of the United States? Is it a fact that after have a century of pressure from law enforcement, the illegal dope business runs smoother than most American corporations with less internal loss? When body parts start coming up in fishing gear and the good guys have to shoot the other good guys, the lines between good and evil lose their significance. And when you know the truth, the only way to stay alive is run like hell and watch your six!

Download Debt and Indebtedness at Emar Book in PDF, ePub and Kindle
This book is the first comprehensive study of debts and credit system at Emar. It focuses on the socio-economic aspects of credit access and indebtedness as well as on the motivations behind debts and debt settlement in the city of Emar. The credit system is analyzed through several factors: the purpose of debts, i.e., productive or consumptive; the procedures for granting loans; the strategies put in place to meet an obligation and to cope with economic difficulties; the consequences of non-fulfillment, which may lead to servitude or slavery; the different types of slavery; slave prices; the mechanisms of enslavement; and termination of slavery. Moneylending practices and the formation of servile conditions at Emar are studied in the context of the Syrian economy aiming to understand whether the Emar evidence conforms with a socio political and economic crisis that is generally acknowledged to have struck Syria, Anatolia and Northern Mesopotamia at the end of the Late Bronze Age. This work is of sure relevance for scholars interested in socio-economic history, not only of the pertinent historical-geographical area.
