Have you ever wondered if Jesus had a best friend? Oh yes, He had the disciples, but He could not choose ONE of them for a best friend-what would the others think? Jesus had all of the angels of heaven, but they could not leave heaven and walk and talk with Him. He had His father God, who spoke to Him directing His early mission. But, did He have a true best friend? Remember when you were little and you had a best friend to talk to every day? To walk to school with? To eat lunch with? To share a treat or a secret? Sure, we all did-many best friends over the years. But, what about Jesus? This is the story of a little black dog who was lost and all alone who needed someone to help him, to claim him, to find food and water and a safe place to sleep for him. This is also the story of Jesus who found that when he befriended a little lost dog that He found a best friend who would go with Him for His earthly ministry. The little dog learned a lot about Jesus and loved Jesus with all of his little heart. From helping to find disciples to assist in His ministry, to the miracles, the parables, and finally to the cross, the little black dog saw and heard it all. In this book, "Blessing" the little black dog tells us about the great adventure he had being the best friend of Jesus. The story is told for children and adults using scripture and imagination to define the need for friendship and the Kingdom of God.

The Author truly believes that the dog is God's most perfect creation, and it shows by the unconditional love dog shows for man. This trait is not shown by any other creature and only shown in the relationship dog has with man, and is a gift from God to man. God is the only other that shows this unconditional love towards man, so the Author feels the dog is very special in God's eyes, even the name "Dog" is a reflection of the name "God". This book will touch on all your emotions, happiness, sadness, anger and in the final chapter this Author's vision of why dogs go to heaven, you will feel the unconditional love given to man only from God and Dog. We all have heard the Gospel stories of Jesus, but the Author tastefully injected a loving companion dog into some of these beautiful stories. He knew some might take offense with him messing with the Gospels, but he is a man of great faith as well as a dog parent, and he takes great pain in writing this book so as to not change the Gospel's real meaning. The best way to see if this book is for you is to hit the look inside button, and you will be able to read the full chapter before you buy. There are a few purely fictional chapters that were added, but they are respectfully written and take nothing from the scriptures.

The book is a collection of stories and ideas that have an Australian flavour. It is a teacher's inspirational idea used to hold the attention of the children in the month up to Christmas. Like the advent calendars filled with lollies, this book has a daily December treat for the child opening each date. It also serves to provide some cultural practices and language that is Aussi in nature. It is also hoped that children will learn more by writing to the author at the little black dog's e-mail address. I believe that by engaging children more teachers can provide greater opportunity for individual growth. I see our job as catalyst to move children on to independent thinking.

Christians have a special worldview affecting how they experience depression, the “common cold” afflicting our emotional well-being, and that is the focus of this short book. In it, Christians and the important people in their support networks will read about the good news and the bad, the blessings and pitfalls that a Christian faith brings to the problem of managing depressions. The book is hopeful without being simplistic, and it is steadfast in its commitment to the goal of human flourishing in a problematic world.

Many books have been written about the Southern lifestyle during the 1930's through the 1940's, but sit back and lend your ear (eyes) to a personal account of how a young man grew up under these trying conditions. Not only were the conditions trying, but getting an education was bleak and almost impossible, not just due to the segregation, but from the internal conflicts among the families. See how the hand of God moved to help this family over-come hardships and calamities, but how He touched the life of this young man when he was determined to better himself, his sisters and brothers, mother and father and to make a life outside the Racial Southern expectations of young black men. These are issues that I experienced growing up as a black person in the South in the USA. I want my children and grandchildren to know the things I experienced and how I was able to overcome and make a better life for my family. Currently I am living in Southern California, and I have lived quite a long life. I am currently on the downside of being a septagenarian. Unfortunately, I have lost my eyesight due to a disease called diabetic retinopathy. I am dependent on my wife and my sister to assist me in getting this book completed. I have been trying to get the book finished for the past fifteen years. I hope this book gives insight to not only my family, but to all that would care to read it.

This inquiry into the theological-political nature of power deals with the application to Europe of a new theory, in which the state is formulated as the synthesis of the economy and culture. Its chief aim is to answer the fundamental questions: What is the best political system for Europe? Upon which principles ought it to be founded? Does it concur with the past and the present of the Europeans? In addition, it unveils important political truths that remained up to now unidentified, yet their philosophical and theological sources were known for centuries. A new concept and an age-old thinking method brought forth this universal political theory. 'Culture family' means either an association of distinct cultures sharing common roots, or the transnational society of their human carriers. Arguably, a sound approach to the political future of multicultural societies is impossible in the absence of this construct. This book explains the genesis of the European culture family in accordance with Hegel's dialectical method, and identifies love as the principle and the end guiding life within it. Moreover, it includes a draft of the Charter of the Rights of the European Culture Family, so as to ensure that all concerned parties acknowledge them. The other key idea underpinning The European Union according to Jesus Christ consists of a cross-domain, all embracing analogy. Just as the person and the work of Jesus Christ are essential to the redemption of mankind, so the entity and the duty of the state are crucial to the recovery of culturally and economically interconnected societies. The Definition of Faith of the Chalcedon Council and its political translation illustrate this similarity. In order to develop it thoroughly, 45 articles of the Summa Theologiae were translated into an equal number of political theses. Aquinas wrote this masterpiece in the 13th century, that is, during Europe's childhood. It is a comprehensive exposition of Christian theology and an excellent summary of the philosophy of Aristotle, one of the greatest thinkers ever. Thus the worth of the propositions incarnating the European version of the state according to Jesus Christ is assured.
