"When you have read these simple pages, you won't say "It's Raining Miracles" is a great book." You won't say "Don Evans is a great writer." But your heart will know that God is still doing today the same things He did when Jesus walked the earth. You will hear testimony after testimony of just how great our God really is." "'It's time saith the Lord. It's time to see the fire on the roof again. It's time for the wind to blow. 'It's time for the lame to be made whole, for the blind to see, and the lepers to be cleansed. It's time that I will do mighty acts so that men can be saved. I will do it through your hands,' saith God. Some will say, 'Is that the Don Evans we know?' Yes, but they will hardly recognize you, for the anointing of God will be so strong and powerful upon you'" (Prophecy given by Danny Griffin, September 1987). The late great Irene Burk Harrell said, "Many say they have a miracle ministry or flow in the Prophetic, and we see very little. But not so when Brother Don Evans comes to town. The proof is in the pudding, they say, and truly He does provide the proof to back up his ministry from God."

This volume explores the rhetorical role that miracle discourse plays in the argumentation of the New Testament and early Christianity. The investigation includes both the rhetoric within miracle discourse and the rhetorical role of miracle discourse as it was incorporated into the larger works in which it is now a part. The volume also examines the social, cultural, religious, political, and ideological associations that miracle discourse had in the first-century Mediterranean world, bringing these insights to bear on the broader questions of early Christian origins. The contributors are L. Gregory Bloomquist, Wendy Cotter, David A. deSilva, Davina C. Lopez, Gail O'Day, Todd Penner, Vernon K. Robbins, and Duane F. Watson.

What Is a Man? Biologically, we are animals--homo sapiens. But men are different, born with consciousness, reason, free will, notions of morality, and other characteristics of what we call "human nature." Why are we different? Were we created by God or are we just accidents of nature? Are you a child of the King or just a child of King Kong? This is a book of apologetics for laypeople. It looks at arguments for the existence of God and especially at those arguments that can be drawn from human nature. It argues in plain language, with illustrations and humor, that we cannot explain human nature without God, that men are miracles.

Camp Miracle is the story of a couple, Clyde, a veterinarian, and his wife Freeda, a nurse who decide to open a children’s camp. Clyde’s brother, Ian, and Freeda’s sister, Jo are drafter into helping them. They have a beautiful setting in the mountains with a large lake with an island and a waterfall. They are unsure of themselves and call the camp Camp Miracle because Clyde says it will be a miracle if he survives the first week. Children come in and thoroughly enjoy the camp. One of the young boys was injured in an auto accident and was unable to walk, but somehow during the week at camp he regains the use of his leg. Other children with different disabilities also seem to regain their health while at camp. Everyone is accepted at the camp regardless of their ability or disability and love is shown to all. Even the wild animals bring themselves or loved ones to Clyde to be healed. The children love to play jokes and tricks on their counselors because they like them and on one nurse because they don’t like her. She becomes a hero after a very strange creature arrives at the camp and she comes to his rescue.
