Especially is this true when 5 or more plants of a variety can be used. Garden Clubs or other groups are urged to take advantage of the saving as indicated in the following price schedule. The quantity price of any variety is ascertained by reference to the retail price and then from the table obtaining the price in lots of 5 and 25 or more. The figure after the name of a variety indicates the number of plants that may be ordered at the quantity price given in columns one and two. For example, 1 after Aliquippa 1 which is priced at indicates that as many as 10 plants may be purchased at each as shown in column 1 for a variety; 2 after Allure 2 which is priced at indicates that as many as 25 plants may be purchased at each, as shown in column 2 for a variety; 3 after Ambassadeur 3 indicates that this variety is available in lots of 50 or more at the 25 rate and may be purchased at 25 cents each as shown in column 2 for a 35 cent variety.
