Iowa Natural Heritage Foundation PDF Download

A unique agreement was formed between the Iowa Academy of Science, the Iowa Natural Heritage Foundation and the Iowa Bankers Association to publish a book entitled, "Iowa's Natural Heritage." The Iowa Bankers Association was responsible for marketing the project, coordinating delivery and all aspects of distribution of the book. The IBA used the following strategies to carry out their responsibilities; news sessions were held and press releases distributed, a mailing packet was developed, bank lobby displays were prepared, insert post cards within the books were prepared and bankers were given aid in developing special occasions to highlight the book. The book project was very successful and will lead to other environmental and historical state projects.
