Once before God called out a people to be His special people and a priestly nation before the world. Now again God has called out people to be His and walk before Him as an example to all peoples, calling the people of the world to Him. Now as then He is ingathering us from the far country to which we had wandered and setting us on our betrothal journey home. We can discern much from the first such journey of ingathering that can assist and encourage us as we set out on our own journey of ingathering. This is one persons look at what God has told us about our Tabernacles and what to expect and watch for along the way. It is a walk through Gods Word, searching to see the intent and symbolism contained in the Tabernacle/Temple structure, decorations and rituals with an eye to how these thing might apply to us today. For we have been told that our bodies are now the temple or tabernacle of the Holy Spirit and God has told us previously His specifications for maintaining this space properly so that when we go to Him, He can be found. This book looks at what was lost when man was banished at the beginning; as this is what will be restored at the end times. From there a look was taken at what was elaborated in His Word about Gods purpose, requirements and expectations via the Covenants, Prophets and Law. The last section concentrates on the Tabernacle, its specifications, attendants and Feast Day. For today each of us is now serving as priest before the presence of the Holy Spirit within us.

The chronology of the Bible continues to be a popular and much debated subject to both scholars and students of Scripture. Over the years many have offered a chronology of events in an unsuccessful attempt to accurately predict when their particular brand of divine intervention would occur. These failed predictions have led many denominations to preach that an accurate prediction is not even possible; however, I disagree. By administering the sabbatical and jubilee year system into the chronology of Scripture, a pattern of numbers are revealed, that can be utilized to accurately forecast the commencement of what I refer as the 'Great One-Thousand Year Day of Ingathering'.

Ezra and the Second Wilderness addresses the relationship between Ezra, the Ezra Memoir, and the Pentateuch. Tracing the growth of the Ezra Memoir and its incorporation into Ezra-Nehemiah, Philip Y. Yoo discusses the literary strategies utilized by some of the composers and redactors operating in the post-exilic period. After the strata in Ezra 7-10 and Nehemiah 8-10 are identified, what emerges as the base Ezra Memoir is a coherent account of Ezra's leadership of the exiles from Babylon over the course of a single year, one that is intricately modelled on the multiple presentations of Moses and the Israelite wilderness preserved in the Pentateuch. Through discussion of the detected influences, allusions, and omissions between the Pentateuch and the Ezra Memoir, Yoo shows that the Ezra Memoir demonstrates a close understanding of its source materials and received traditions as it constructs the Babylonian returnees as the inheritors of torah and, in turn, the true and unparalleled successors of the Israelite cult. This study presents the Ezra Memoir as a sophisticated example of 'biblical' interpretation in the Second Temple period. It also suggests that the Ezra Memoir has access to the Pentateuch in only its constituent parts. Acknowledging not only the antiquity but also efficacy of its prototypes, the Ezra Memoir employs a variety of hermeneutical strategies in order to harmonize the competing claims of its authoritative sources. In closing the temporal gap between these sources and its own contemporary time, the Ezra Memoir grants authority to the utopic past yet also projects its own vision for the proper worship of Israel's deity.

Before it was written there were a wide variety of views about the end of time held across different Jewish movements. Historically there have been four main methods of interpretation in both Judaism and Christianity, of which we see all on display in the New Testament. The controversy around interpretation of prophecy existed in the days of Jesus, led some to reject Christ, was not resolved by the Protestant Reformers, and still divides our churches today. This book looks at how we got here and proposes a way we should all move forward together. Using only the Scriptures, the sola scriptura approach challenges us to understand what the original audience of the letter from John would have understood. By identifying singularities and parallels within the book, built from years of research and verse-by-verse exegetical study, we will see how it is the fulfillment of the hopes and expectations of the Hebrew prophets and the early church.
