Art The Lauren Rogers Museum of Art opened in 1923 as the first art museum in Mississippi. It comprises 105 pieces of sterling, most pieces used for the serving of tea. They include elegant tea caddies, urns, epergnes, and baskets for cakes and sweetmeats.
