We all have a path in life in which we all must make decisions or choices as to which path we will take. I hope this book gives encouraging words that makes those choices seem not so bad. Yes we all make mistakes and we all are sinners. We can fault others for sinning differently than us. I chose the title of the book because in this day and age we are all connected to some device, website, email, etc which requires an IP address. If we can connect to the world via the internet highway as it used to be called, then why not connect to ourselves by looking deeper within to find the right path for our lives. Not everyone’s path is the same but we all hope to gain insight into life and bring positive to others in life. Here is my contribution to achieve that goal. These are my random thoughts from sitting back watching others and what I feel sometimes in my heart and mind. I am not perfect nor do I want my readers to feel as though I am. I am human and have made mistakes all through my life. I wish that I had encouraging words during some of those dark days or nights. Instead, I chose to encourage myself and at the same time I hope sharing my thoughts may help encourage others.

An individual's perceptions of life may also be their reality, or so I have been told. Society has forced me to look deep inside myself and how I think on a daily basis. In my first I.P. Address (Inspirational Path Address) book I told the story of "Maurice/Reese," because I was not ready to face what happened to me years ago. It was easy to remove myself emotionally and mentally, or so I thought, from the pain associated with the attack. I was forced to come to terms with what happened because I have RSD/CRPS. RSD/CRPS is a nerve disease to put it short. This nerve disease forced me to look at every part of my life in a different way. I had to look at how I truly felt about things I experienced day to day, people I met, along with becoming more vocal, writing, about what it was I was experiencing or going through.

Why the Internet was designed to be the way it is, and how it could be different, now and in the future. How do you design an internet? The architecture of the current Internet is the product of basic design decisions made early in its history. What would an internet look like if it were designed, today, from the ground up? In this book, MIT computer scientist David Clark explains how the Internet is actually put together, what requirements it was designed to meet, and why different design decisions would create different internets. He does not take today's Internet as a given but tries to learn from it, and from alternative proposals for what an internet might be, in order to draw some general conclusions about network architecture. Clark discusses the history of the Internet, and how a range of potentially conflicting requirements—including longevity, security, availability, economic viability, management, and meeting the needs of society—shaped its character. He addresses both the technical aspects of the Internet and its broader social and economic contexts. He describes basic design approaches and explains, in terms accessible to nonspecialists, how networks are designed to carry out their functions. (An appendix offers a more technical discussion of network functions for readers who want the details.) He considers a range of alternative proposals for how to design an internet, examines in detail the key requirements a successful design must meet, and then imagines how to design a future internet from scratch. It's not that we should expect anyone to do this; but, perhaps, by conceiving a better future, we can push toward it.

Focused on fundamental concepts and practical applications, this book provides a strong foundation in the principles and terminology of computer networking and internet technology. This thoroughly revised second edition, incorporating some of the latest technical features in networking, is suitable for introductory one-semester courses for undergraduate students of computer science and engineering, electronics and telecommunication engineering, information technology, as well as students of computer applications (BCA and MCA). This text begins with an overview of computer networking and a discussion on data communication. Then it proceeds to explain how computer networks such as local area networks (LANs) and wide area networks (WANs) work, and how internetworking is implemented. Besides, the book provides a description of the Internet and TCP/IP protocol. With the prolific growth of networking, ‘network management and security’ has become an increa-singly important part of the academic curriculum. This topic has been ade-quately dealt with in a separate chapter. The practical aspects of networking, listing the essential requirements needed for actually setting up a computer network, are thoroughly explained in the final chapter of the book. WHAT IS NEW IN THE SECOND EDITION • Wireless LAN in Chapter 4 • API and Socket Programming and End-to-End Protocol in Chapter 7 • Remote Procedure Call (RPC) Protocol in Chapter 8 • Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol –Error reporting by ICMP –Virtual Private Network (VPN) in Chapter 9 –Network Address Translation (NAT) An appendix dealing with telephone networking, wireless networking, cellular networking and satellite and telemetry communication has been included to meet the requirements of the students.
