Teacher leadership remains at the forefront of conversations in teacher education, with discussions on recruitment, retention, and effectiveness. Abstract: The purpose of this project is to highlight the challenges and opportunities for Informal Science Institutions (ISIs), such as museums, science centers, zoos, aquaria, and similar organizations in partnering with and training formal classroom teachers on best practices in science education for elementary students. Self-study research is making an impact on the field of science education.
