Our idea is the result of the experience and discoveries of the ages preceding us. Religion is the most puzzling and the most profound question which has confronted the human mind since time began, and it is the most difficult, perhaps, that the mind has tried to cope with. We can readily see that there is some kind of divine power back of everything, because if there were not some sort of a guiding hand to keep this old world right, things could not progress in such a smooth fashion.
