Dear Parents, The Hebrew alphabet known variously by scholars as the Ktav Ashuri, Jewish script, square script and block script, is an abjad script used in the writing of the Hebrew language and other Jewish languages, most notably Yiddish, Judeo-Spanish, Judeo-Arabic, and Judeo-Persian. The Hebrew alphabet has 22 letters. It does not have case. Five letters have different forms when used at the end of a word. Hebrew is written from right to left. Originally, the alphabet was an abjad consisting only of consonants, but is now considered an "impure abjad". Content of the book: For each alphabet letter there will be a page. 1st page has an outline of a letter with the image that starting with that letter, name in Hebrew, English with the phonics of Hebrew name and image. The children can color the letter and images that are allocated for each letter. 2nd page is for next alphabet. This book has similar setup for all the alphabets till page number 24. Pages 25-30 contains all alphabets in single pages with space for practice. 31-50 is having box spaces to practice Hebrew alphabet further. That looks like a great start right!!!
