Jenni Pulos, from Bravo's Flipping Out and Interior Therapy, pens a charming memoir-advice book on how to survive (and thrive) in any situation Jenni Pulos has specialized in a lifetime of disappointments. She's been publicly humiliated, dumped by her spouse on national television, told she'd never make it in Hollywood, encouraged by her family with inspiring questions like, "when are you getting a real job?" and has not only survived but thrived as a result. Despite her struggles and setbacks, Jenni has gone from a "wannabe" aspiring actress and comedian to becoming one of Bravo's most beloved personalities. With hilarious reality meets insanity anecdotes from her life and career, Jenni writes candidly on how to go from victim to victor . . . most of the time. Her book is more of an advice how-not-to story that includes: Jenni's top ten tested and proven ways to fail forwardHow she turned her negative self-talk into positive self-beliefsHow Jenni handles people who didn't want her to succeedHow she stopped fretting over things she didn't have control overHow she found her self-worth and finally found the love she never thought she'd have Grin and Bear It is the spark we all need to ignite our passion, to get out there and be positive, find the funny in life, to be present, and learn how to be happy no matter what reality throws your way.

From the NEW YORK TIMES, WALL STREET JOURNAL, & USA TODAY bestselling series Sienna Diaz is everyone’s favorite “fat” funny lady. The movie studio executives can’t explain it, but her films are out-grossing all the fit and trim headliners and Hollywood’s most beautiful elite. The simple truth is, everyone loves plus-sized Sienna. But she has a problem, she can’t read maps and her sense of direction is almost as bad as her comedic timing is stellar. Therefore, when Sienna’s latest starring role takes her to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park she finds herself continually lost while trying to navigate the back roads of Green Valley, Tennessee. Much to her consternation, Sienna’s most frequent savior is a ridiculously handsome, charming, and cheeky Park Ranger by the name of Jethro Winston. Sienna is accustomed to high levels of man-handsome, so it’s not Jethro’s chiseled features or his perfect physique that make Sienna stutter. It’s his southern charm. And gentlemanly manners. And habit of looking at her too long and too often. Sienna has successfully navigated the labyrinth of Hollywood heart-throbs. But can she traverse the tenuous trails of Tennessee without losing her head? Or worse, her heart? ***** Read the entire Winston Brothers series! When Rachel's baby is stillborn, she becomes obsessed with the idea that saving a stranger's life months earlier is to blame. An unforgettable, heart-wrenching, warm and funny debut... 'Emotionally engaging, witty, clever and wonderfully satisfying' Daily Express 'A stunning debut ... a wise, moving, and thought-provoking novel' Susan Elliot Wright, author of The Flight of Cornelia Blackwood 'A heartbreaking, deeply moving and wonderfully witty tale, which celebrates all it means to be human' Isabelle Broom, author of The Getaway –––––––––––––– Mum-to-be Rachel did everything right, but it all went wrong. Her son, Luke, was stillborn and she finds herself on maternity leave without a baby, trying to make sense of her loss. When a misguided well-wisher tells her that "everything happens for a reason", she becomes obsessed with finding that reason, driven by grief and convinced that she is somehow to blame. She remembers that on the day she discovered her pregnancy, she'd stopped a man from jumping in front of a train, and she's now certain that saving his life cost her the life of her son. Desperate to find him, she enlists an unlikely ally in Lola, an Underground worker, and Lola's seven-year-old daughter, Josephine, and eventually tracks him down, with completely unexpected results... Both a heart-wrenchingly poignant portrait of grief and a gloriously uplifting and disarmingly funny story of a young woman's determination, Everything Happens for a Reason is a bittersweet, life- affirming read and, quite simply, unforgettable. –––––––––––––– 'A beautiful novel, bursting with raw emotional honesty and authenticity' Gill Paul, author of The Secret Wife 'So affecting. Profoundly sad. Funny. I just loved it' Louise Beech, author of This Is How We Are Human 'Darkly funny, yet poignant and moving ... Rachel's quest to find out if everything happens for a reason is both heartbreaking and heartwarming' Anna Bell, author of In Case You Missed It 'Some books teach you, others touch your soul, then there are books like this one that bury deep and create a home in your heart' Emma-Claire Wilson, Glass House Magazine 'A triumph ... a book of hope and ambition and making sense of the world, a tale of acting spontaneously, living in the moment and throwing caution to the wind' Isabella May, author of Oh! Someone just like me is out there who wants to know she/he is not alone in feeling like the outsider...so far outside of the box...a box that you didn't know existed until one day it hits you like a brick. Actually, no, it doesn't hit you. No, you run into it...run right into the invisible outside brick wall of the box. And you're like, "What the frick?!" You feel like an idiot for running into something, like tripping on the sidewalk and looking back to see what that heck made you jerk forward so hard while everyone else is laughing. Do you know what I mean? I gotta believe there is one person out there in our seven-billion-person-world (or so) who gets that. Now, mind you, this box wasn't placed there intentionally to make people miserable and excluded. No...I'm convinced it started with good intentions, but we all know where those get you, right? I'm telling you, that's the one piece of wisdom that never made much sense to me as a kid. But, Holy Crap, it certainly does now. Many a road to our personal Hells has been paved with the ever well-meaning GOOD INTENTION. It's one sneaky, little, seductive force too, used for eons as the excuse for something that has clearly gone astray from the original intent. For example, many of our society's traditions supposedly celebrate love. A noble idea. I'm all for love. But these traditions developed into really limited acceptable formats...you know...concrete categories of love and rankings of love...like one form of love is somehow greater than another. And it was a slippery slope from there...And so Colleen begins this dialogue of what it is like to be single, female and over 40.

A five-time Moth GrandSLAM winner and bestselling novelist shows how to tell a great story — and why doing so matters. Whether we realize it or not, we are always telling stories. On a first date or job interview, at a sales presentation or therapy appointment, with family or friends, we are constantly narrating events and interpreting emotions and actions. In this compelling book, storyteller extraordinaire Matthew Dicks presents wonderfully straightforward and engaging tips and techniques for constructing, telling, and polishing stories that will hold the attention of your audience (no matter how big or small). He shows that anyone can learn to be an appealing storyteller, that everyone has something “storyworthy” to express, and, perhaps most important, that the act of creating and telling a tale is a powerful way of understanding and enhancing your own life.
