América Latina y el Caribe tienen un rol predominante en la mitigación de esta crisis, al poseer la mayor concentración de biodiversidad de todo el planeta, las principales fuentes de agua fresca, el bioma amazónico y una riqueza incuantificable de arrecifes coralinos, entre otros. Consciente de esta realidad, Iván Duque plantea en estas páginas una hoja de ruta para los países de la región --con estrategias realistas, financiables, replicables, escalables y sostenibles--, para aunar esfuerzos que permitan soluciones a corto, mediano y largo plazo.
