Sobre todo porque desde la realidad de las empresas y las micro, pequeñas y medianas empresas estudiadas y la experiencia del autor se infiere la necesidad de las mipymes colombianas en cuanto a procesos de gestión estratégica. En el texto describe el paso a paso para la construcción de todos y cada uno de los componentes que debe tener un plan estratégico. También ilustra la metodología para la formulación de planes tácticos o funcionales y la elaboración del Balanced Scorecard -BSC o cuadro de mando integral -CMI como herramientas para la ejecución y el monitoreo de un plan estratégico. Su uso y aplicación contribuirá al logro de los objetivos corporativos que propicien la permanencia y el crecimiento de empresas y organizaciones de cualquier sector económico o industrial y de cualquier naturaleza (pública o privada) especialmente porque aporta a la gestión estratégica que haga frente a la dinámica del mundo altamente competitivo y cambiante de hoy.
