This involves a pretty difficult problem - it means keeping out of the rut of clinging to the older varieties without giving the new ones a trial. On the other hand, it makes it necessary to recommend these more recent introductions with care never, in any case, without proving them by trial and comparison to be worthy of our patrons' confidence.
