Is the world going to hell in a handbasket? Is ours the generation that will be left behind? Are global events harbingers of the great tribulation? Such questions promote a fear and anxiety that is contrary to the hope-filled gospel of Jesus Christ. In AD70 and the End of the World, award-winning author Paul Ellis offers an alternative, gospel-based perspective of the last days. Based on an in-depth study of scripture and the forgotten lessons of history, he reveals the astonishing good news hidden within Christ’s parables and prophecies of judgment. This book is the antidote to pessimistic prophecy. It answers questions about Judgment Day, the rapture, and the end of the age. It reinterprets dark tales of vengeance and wrath through the bright light of grace. If you are weary of gloomy forecasts or are anxious about the apocalypse, AD70 and the End of the World will give you a confident and joyful expectation of a bright tomorrow.

The perfect gift! A specially priced, beautifully designed hardcover edition of The Joy of the Gospel with a foreword by Robert Barron and an afterword by James Martin, SJ. “The joy of the gospel fills the hearts and lives of all who encounter Jesus… In this Exhortation I wish to encourage the Christian faithful to embark upon a new chapter of evangelization marked by this joy, while pointing out new paths for the Church’s journey in years to come.” – Pope Francis This special edition of Pope Francis's popular message of hope explores themes that are important for believers in the 21st century. Examining the many obstacles to faith and what can be done to overcome those hurdles, he emphasizes the importance of service to God and all his creation. Advocating for “the homeless, the addicted, refugees, indigenous peoples, the elderly who are increasingly isolated and abandoned,” the Holy Father shows us how to respond to poverty and current economic challenges that affect us locally and globally. Ultimately, Pope Francis demonstrates how to develop a more personal relationship with Jesus Christ, “to recognize the traces of God’s Spirit in events great and small.” Profound in its insight, yet warm and accessible in its tone, The Joy of the Gospel is a call to action to live a life motivated by divine love and, in turn, to experience heaven on earth. Includes a foreword by Robert Barron, author of Catholicism: A Journey to the Heart of the Faith and James Martin, SJ, author of Jesus: A Pilgrimage

Did you know that the global church is only a few years away from fulfilling Jesus' command to "make disciples of every nation?" And that Jesus explicitly tied his return to the completion of that task?In And Then the End Will Come, Douglas Cobb, founder of the Finishing Fund, provides a front-line account of the effort to finish Jesus' Great Commission in our lifetimes. He also explores nine other clues that Jesus is coming soon, including?the approaching 2000-year anniversary of the resurrection?the regathering of Israel?and the prophecies of Daniel Chapter 12.He makes the case that the return of Christ is at hand-perhaps in the next year or two, perhaps a little later, but assuredly very soon. And he offers practical instruction about what it means to "live holy and godly lives" as we look for the coming of our Lord and King.If you're discouraged about the craziness you see in the world today, And Then the End Will Come will offer you hope for better things soon to come-things so great that the Bible says no one can imagine how awesome they will be.

The War Within By: Cornelius Harris Accounting day-to-day encounters with the outside environment set Cornelius along a path of journal writing, encouraging the idea to make The War Within a memoir. The completion of his book details being affected emotionally, psychologically and spiritually. He articulates how profoundly his pain and suffering affected him, pulling out emotions, that he beautifully articulates concerning his social environment and how it shaped him. During this process, he uses the theme of religion/spirituality as a tool to enlighten him about the nature of his existence and this interplay with the supernal universe, as he accounts his psychic impressions, that he refers as God, or spirit guides, sent to help him understand who he is as a hurt Black, gay man. Inter-generational healing becomes crucial in understanding his family dynamic, by using his rejection, shame, and trauma as an impetus for self-revelation. He deals with the struggle of understanding his sexual identity around the context of a heteronormative society, and how he endured unbearable discrimination, and stigmatization from a ruthless society. This drove him in the door of Alcoholics Anonymous, a source he uses as strength to also heal from being marginalized in his own community. By reconciling those fractured social networks that had once hindered him from embarking on self-discovery, he is able to find a path to discover himself as a Black, gay, veteran, living within the cultural milieu of a American narrative that tells a different, less noble story of who he is expected to be, by daring to break historical stereotypes and living his own truth.

A riveting, deeply personal account of history in the making—from the president who inspired us to believe in the power of democracy #1 NEW YORK TIMES BESTSELLER • NAACP IMAGE AWARD NOMINEE • NAMED ONE OF THE TEN BEST BOOKS OF THE YEAR BY THE NEW YORK TIMES BOOK REVIEW AND PEOPLE NAMED ONE OF THE BEST BOOKS OF THE YEAR BY The Washington Post • Jennifer Szalai, The New York Times • NPR • The Guardian • Slate • Vox • The Economist • Marie Claire In the stirring first volume of his presidential memoirs, Barack Obama tells the story of his improbable odyssey from young man searching for his identity to leader of the free world, describing in strikingly personal detail both his political education and the landmark moments of the first term of his historic presidency—a time of dramatic transformation and turmoil. Obama takes readers on a compelling journey from his earliest political aspirations to the pivotal Iowa caucus victory that demonstrated the power of grassroots activism to the watershed night of November 4, 2008, when he was elected 44th president of the United States, becoming the first African American to hold the nation’s highest office. Reflecting on the presidency, he offers a unique and thoughtful exploration of both the awesome reach and the limits of presidential power, as well as singular insights into the dynamics of U.S. partisan politics and international diplomacy. Obama brings readers inside the Oval Office and the White House Situation Room, and to Moscow, Cairo, Beijing, and points beyond. We are privy to his thoughts as he assembles his cabinet, wrestles with a global financial crisis, takes the measure of Vladimir Putin, overcomes seemingly insurmountable odds to secure passage of the Affordable Care Act, clashes with generals about U.S. strategy in Afghanistan, tackles Wall Street reform, responds to the devastating Deepwater Horizon blowout, and authorizes Operation Neptune’s Spear, which leads to the death of Osama bin Laden. A Promised Land is extraordinarily intimate and introspective—the story of one man’s bet with history, the faith of a community organizer tested on the world stage. Obama is candid about the balancing act of running for office as a Black American, bearing the expectations of a generation buoyed by messages of “hope and change,” and meeting the moral challenges of high-stakes decision-making. He is frank about the forces that opposed him at home and abroad, open about how living in the White House affected his wife and daughters, and unafraid to reveal self-doubt and disappointment. Yet he never wavers from his belief that inside the great, ongoing American experiment, progress is always possible. This beautifully written and powerful book captures Barack Obama’s conviction that democracy is not a gift from on high but something founded on empathy and common understanding and built together, day by day.

For 457 years the Prophet Nostradamus has been a MYSTERY. Hidden in dark speech he was misunderstood and rejected by the Protestant Christian Church, forbidden to be read by the Catholic Church, and totally discredited by psychics and worldly interpreters as being in the Occult. However, it was the occult interpreters that were instrumental in keeping his work alive and mysterious. Written from a Christian perspective, many questions about this mysterious man Nostradamus, and why his work has endured so long are answered in this book. Reverend Sunday has discovered the secrets and the intentions of his lifes work, and you will be amazed to find out WHO Nostradamus really was. If you are curious about Planet X-Wormwood, then you will find out how that ties into these hidden revelations. There always comes a time when hidden things are revealed to a Prophet. (Daniel 2:22; Amos 3:7.) The second Prophet, William Branham, was way ahead of his time in his understanding of supernatural phenomenon; and his revelations on the Book of Genesis regarding the apple and its sexual connotations lost him favor with the approved church then, and now. Prophets are rarely understood in their own age. These TWO PROPHETS were brought together to this unknown Sophe/Scribe chosen to disclose the hidden, amazing information, and revelation for our day...To GOD be the GLORY. Prepare the way for the Lord.
