Moses Diamond: Baby Left Along The Oregon Trail & Rescued By Christian Pioneers, is a heart-warming story about a poor wagon train making its way along the Oregon Trail. The train may be poor, but the Christians on it are strong. One young man finds a Native American baby along the trail and he takes it immediately to the wagon train. There are no nursing mothers on the small train and no source of food for the infant. The Onion Fields Of God, is an inspirational story, with scriptures, about one family's journey along the Oregon Trail, headed west on a wagon train to start their new lives. They started out wanting to farm onions, well, except for the oldest son Jeb. What he finds along the way changes his mind, their destination, and the fate of his family and neighbors forever. The Comfort Of A Good Horse, is about how young woman rescues a beaten horse, and the animal turns the tables on his former abuser when they go after the woman, who is an expert rodeo circuit rider. Walking Up The Mountain Path With God, is a wonderfully rich and emotionally complex story set both in the present and the past, where two couples have to overcome obstacles of both health and love and war and life choices, but along with a strong love for God and each other, they are eventually able to do so. The Crooked Tree In The Back Yard, is about a family moving to Oregon to get a fresh start after the mom's divorce. She's bought an old house in the woods, which requires a lot of renovation, and her two children are not thrilled. They go upstairs to explore their bedrooms and soon discover old news articles plastered to the wall, plus a hidden box which contains clues and a journal and letters about settlers to the area who had made their way west along the Oregon Trail.

Living Confidently in God's Unfailing Love Grace is amazing because it is God's provision for when we fall short of His standards. Unfortunately, too many of us embrace grace for our salvation but then leave it behind in our everyday lives. We base our relationship with God on our performance rather than on His love for us, even when we intuitively know that our performance cannot earn us the love we so desperately crave. Isn't it time to stop trying to measure up and begin accepting the transforming power of God's grace? The product of more than ten years of Bible study, Navigator author Jerry Bridges's Transforming Grace is a fountainhead of inspiration and renewal that will show you just how inexhaustible and generous God's grace really is. This edition includes the full study guide, which was formerly available as a separate product (ISBN 9781600063046).

Weaves together biblical exposition and practical application to demonstrate how emotions relate to the Christian life. Emotions are a vital part of what it means to be a human being made in the image of God and redeemed in Jesus Christ. But often our emotions confuse and mislead us. So what is the proper place for emotions in a Christian's walk of faith? In Feelings and Faith Brian Borgman draws from his extensive biblical knowledge and his pastoral experience to help readers understand both divine and human emotions. After laying a biblical foundation he moves on to practical application, focusing on how Christians can put to death ungodly emotional displays and also cultivate godly emotions. This biblically informed, practical volume is helpful for pastors, counselors, and serious-minded Christians who wish to develop a full-orbed faith that encompasses their emotional life.

In the acclaimed book Muslim Evangelism, Phil Parshall devotes one chapter to "bridges" which can assist in facilitating understanding between Islam and Christianity. In Bridges to Islam he expands that key chapter into a book. The most promising bridges can be found not in orthodox Islam, contends the author, but in "folk Islam", which is less well known in the West but which influences about 70 percent of the world's Muslims. "Popular Islam consists largely of people who desire to know God and to be accepted by him", writes the author. "They have a high view of one God who is . . . all-powerful and merciful." The mystical Sufis press for a more satisfying personal relationship with Allah. These teachings and aspirations, argues the author, have immense potential as bridges, which he has personally witnessed spending many years ministering among Muslims. This thorough and in depth study of ways to bridge folk Islam will be invaluable to missionaries, students, and those interested in reaching Muslims for Christ.
