Elvis was known as the "King of Rock and Roll", but he was also a Gospel Singer. He received three Grammy awards for his recordings, all of which were for his gospel songs. Elvis, "The King", many times said publicly that there is only one King, and that is Jesus Christ. He not only acknowledged the Lord but also worshipped Him and prayed to Him, often. This book looks at Elvis' life, particularly his Christian faith and the inspiration that he has been, and still is, to so many people. There is no doubt that Elvis is an enigma, but hopefully this book clarifies a side of Elvis that is often neglected. I believe it is a 'good read' which will be a revelation to many and, I hope, a blessing to all. ( Madeleine Wilson - Author) The book has a "Gallery" at the end of each chapter which has photos of Elvis, covering many aspects of his life.

This book is dedicated to the complete list of Elvis Presley Songs in alphabetical order: - 898 songs !!! It is the ideal complement to my previous Elvis’ book entitled "Elvis Presley Concerts and Rehearsals from 1944 to 1977". It presents itself as a useful tool for reading Elvis' songs both when listening to studio songs and songs during live performances, as all the songs known so far recorded by Elvis Presley are present in it, in alphabetical order and perfectly indexed and recallable with a direct link to the initial letter of the song. Added, for completeness of information, are the songs that Elvis Presley sang from 1944 to 1977 but for which we do not, at present, have evidence of audio or video recordings and the songs known from concert rehearsals, of which similarly, we do not have, always at the current state, a confirmation of audio and video recordings; Added the songs that Elvis Presley had rehearsed and should have sung on the tour which obviously never took place, from 08/17/1977 to 08/28/1977, following his sudden death on 08/16/1977; Also added the songs that other singers from Elvis Presley's group (Kathy Westmoreland, Sherrill Nielsen, The Stamps) sang at his concerts and concert rehearsals from 1968 to 1977; For each song I reported: the authors of the song and the date Elvis Presley recorded the song, the reference to the film in which Elvis Presley sang the song, if the song belongs to the soundtrack of an Elvis Presley film or the first publication (on single disc, extended play or album) in all other cases; For the songs of which we do not have audio / video recordings, I have reported the authors of the song, the year the song was recorded and the references of the concerts and rehearsals in which Elvis Presley sang the song. In the end I want to thank, with my heart and soul, Elvis Presley, for the unique talent he was able to express through his music, which gives me and many other people and will always give pure joy and happiness. Enjoy reading !!! Updated - Edition 1.4 !!!

This biography revisits an all American classic; the King of Rock and Roll. The original rock-n-roll rebel, Elvis Presley revolutionized the music industry. His hip-shaking performances made young fans scream, television censors scramble, and parents furious. But Elvis was far more than a sex symbol. Over a period of two decades, he had nearly 40 Top 10 hits. His music influenced The Beatles, Bruce Springsteen, and many others. Elvis showed remarkable range as a singer, excelling at rock songs, ballads, rhythm and blues, country, and even gospel. Elvis died of heart failure in 1977 at the age of 42, but his legend and music live on.

Elvis Presley was born on January 8th, 1935, in a shack in Tupelo, Mississippi. Though he was born a twin, his brother – who had been named Jess Garon – was tragically stillborn. Elvis died on August 16th, 1977, at the age of just 42, in his Graceland mansion. His death marked something significant in the collective mind, like the assassinations of John F. Kennedy, Robert Kennedy, or Martin Luther King. Conspiracy theories took off about the circumstances surrounding his death: Was Elvis murdered by the mob? Was his death faked? Did Elvis commit suicide? Is he still alive? This book sheds new light on many of these questions, while also celebrating his music and legacy. Elvis Presley played a central and vital role in the development of Rockabilly music, drawing as he did on a vast range of styles, from the Gospel music of his southern youth to the country music of the Midwest. This book is dedicated to Elvis: the artist, the human being, and The King.
