New Saucerian is proud to offer this finely crafted reprint of the first edition of "Disneyland of the Gods" by John A. Keel! This special reprint features the original cover art and an introduction by noted zoologist Ivan T. Sanderson, who was one of Keel's mentors. No matter where you live, you may be under the close scrutiny of mysterious entities who appear in many guises and who create all of man's myths and beliefs. Charles Fort, a writer in the 1920s, concluded that the earth was "owned" by somebody or some thing. Ivan Sanderson, a famed biologist in the 1960s, said that this planet was a "farm" and that we were the crop! Millions of people around the world have had startling encounters with the "tricksters" such as the Men in Black (MIB), fairies and elves, snallygasters, Mothmen, aliens and "spacemen," and hairy, abominable creatures that all seem to vanish into thin air. With sharp wit and unique insight, John A. Keel has spent a lifetime investigating and studying these age-old mysterious and the peculiar forces behind them. Many of the reports in "Disneyland of the Gods" were written originally for Saga Magazine over 40 years ago, but are as fresh today as they were then. In these pages, you will find authentic reports on a wide variety of subject matter, and the conclusions Keel draws may shock and frighten you. Are we being invaded from outer space? Are secret government agencies tapping your phone, computer, and mail? Does someone really own the earth and use it as their own "Disneyland of the Gods?" You'd better find out before your phone goes berserk, your best friend becomes possessed by Bigfoot, and your loved ones vanish, screaming into the darkness.

If you liked Virtual Earth Graduate, you'll love this one. This book picks up where John Keel and Charles Fort left off.. with answers. In addition, it features the research of a modern-day investigator David Paulides into the issue of Disappearing People -- his outstanding series is called Missing 411. Thousands of people are disappearing every year and now we can partially understand it. There are cloaked predators out there, and several videos are examined that deal with the issue. In addition, we are developing our own version of cloaking (chapter 6). While the book also deals with Evolution vs Creation and Science vs Religion and even includes the Dan Brown treatment of same in his latest book, Origin, there is a lot of emphasis on the Anunnaki, Skygods, Astral Spooks and even the Djinn. Also covered are the Black-eyed Kids, Shadow People, and odd anomalies around the planet. All in all the book is mainly about anomalies (human, astral, and physical vs paranormal) but is dedicated to the late John Keel whose outstanding book, Disneyland of the Gods, is echoed in this book. Earth is not quite what we think it is, and it is not our home. Thus with Custodians running around cloaked, disappearing people, we need to think twice about Earth being our home -- it isn't. And in order to get out of here, Chapters 9-10 offer insights to further one's personal growth -- which is also a necessity as The Change (aka Alien Agenda) is not just 10 years away, ... it is ongoing as you read this. Forget UFOs, they are here, and have been for centuries...YOUR future is at stake. The Hubrids are explained and are the new human -- just as Neanderthal was replaced, so is the current version of Man being replaced...and how you can proactively survive in the New Society (by upgrading yourself) is examined. See the book's back cover for a more thorough list of interesting topics.

Walt Disney was fond of saying, "I only hope that we never lose sight of one thing: that it was all started by a mouse." And so it is only appropriate that the mouse is incorporated into nearly every aspect of the Disney parks and resorts. In some cases, Mickey's presence is obvious—as in the Partners statue that stands in the center of the hub at the end of Main Street, U.S.A. But in other cases, Mickey's influence is a bit more hidden. . . . So what exactly is a Hidden Mickey? Quite simply, it's an artistic representation of Mickey that was intentionally placed amid the architecture and design of the parks and resorts. Oftentimes it's the familiar three-circle shape of his ears and head. Other times it might be a profile of his face or a full-body silhouette. Disneyland Guests with keen eyes can tell you that Mickey pops up all over the resort, often in the most unexpected places. With this resort wide scavenger hunt, you'll be guided toward each Hidden Mickey, first with a general hint—if you're up for a challenge—and then with a very specific clue. It's so much search-and-find fun, you might forget about your FastPass reservation for Big Thunder Mountain Railroad!

Upholds “a Disney vacation as a religious experience . . . [offers] insightful arguments relating to the nature of play as well as Nietzschean philosophy” (Reading Religion). Rituals mark significant moments in our lives—perhaps none more significant than moments of lightheartedness, joy, and play. Rituals of play are among the most sacred of any of the rites in which humanity may engage. Although we may fail to recognize them, they are always present in culture, providing a kind of psychological release for their participants, child and adult alike. Disneyland is an example of the kind of container necessary for the construction of rituals of play. This work explores the original Disney theme park in Anaheim as a temple cult. It challenges the disciplines of mythological studies, religious studies, film studies, and depth psychology to broaden traditional definitions of the kind of cultural apparatus that constitute temple culture and ritual. It does so by suggesting that Hollywood’s entertainment industry has developed a platform for mythic ritual. After setting the ritualized “stage,” this book turns to the practices in Disneyland proper, analyzing the patron’s traditions within the framework of the park and beyond. It explores Disneyland’s spectacles, through selected shows and parades, and concludes with an exploration of the park’s participation in ritual renewal. “There is much to commend in Koehler’s study . . . Surely, her work should encourage others to examine myth construction and sacred-secular rituals in popular culture.”—H-Celebration
