This historical monograph is one of a series of active duty and Reserve regimental histories. This series covers each regiment in the Fleet Marine Force. The narrative highlights the significant activities of the 14th Marines and offers a general history of the Marine Corps activities in which it participated. This particular monograph was assigned to a member of Mobilization Training Unit (History) DC-7, an organization composed entirely of Reservists tasked with augmenting the activities of the History and Museums Division, Headquarters, U.S. Marine Corps.
