The novel corona virus has changed the world in a very short time span. Almost all the sectors of the economy have been disrupted very badly. The Indian higher education sector has also been affected by the closure of the country. It's approximately seven months of the closure of the institution and still, the reopening of the institute in complete physical mode is not certain. The closure may affect supply of knowledgeable pass out graduates to support the other sector of the economy and ultimately hamper the nation-building process in the long run. Therefore, an effort has been made to suggest the strategic direction for the reestablishment of the Indian higher education processes in the post-COVID-19 outbreak. At first, the traditional method to accomplish higher education processes is presented. Thereafter, all possible ways that may be adopted by institutions to accomplish the Indian higher education are explored. The new suggested alternate method has few challenges too, which are also highlighted in one chapter of the book. Further, quality of online education is measured by conducting survey and findings are included in one of the chapter of the book. After that policy to govern the online education is suggested. Thereafter the preparedness to maintain the higher education process in the post-COIVD-19 pandemic is incorporated. Few strategies are also formulated based on the SWOT analysis of Indian higher education in regards to COVID-19 and presented in a separate chapter. At the end, a conceptual model is proposed to demonstrate the future of higher education. The book will provide strategic direction to the stakeholders of education sectors especially the Indian higher education sector to continue the education process in post COVID-19 outbreak and also be benefited with the e-revolution which has come in Indian higher education with COVID-19.
