Have you ever wondered: Why bad things happen to good people? Are miracles really possible? How there can be any truth to spiritual pursuits when religions say such contradictory things? Is there any way an ordinary person living an ordinary life could become enlightened or liberated or saved? Do soul mates really exist and how you can find one? If so, then Conversations with Jesus Concerning Awakening just might be the book you've been looking for! Accessible, thoughtful and full of personal detail, Carolyn Godschild Miller's Conversations will engage, teach and inspire you. About the Author While earning her doctorate in Experimental Psychology, Carolyn Miller won a two-year Research Support Fellowship from N.I.M.H. She became a licensed Clinical Psychologist in California in 1984, conducted a Women's Program for hospitalized mental patients and taught Psychology at both the graduate and undergraduate levels for more than twenty years. Dr. Miller has been a student of A Course in Miracles for over 35 years. She was personally initiated into Siddha Yoga by an enlightened teacher of that path and given the spiritual name "Godschild" by Jesus. Along with her late husband, Arnold Weiss, Ph.D., Dr. Miller established the Foundation and Institute for the Study of A Course in Miracles, a West Los Angeles nonprofit religious educational organization that, since 1992, has offered low-cost psychotherapy of the type advocated by Jesus in the Psychotherapy Pamphlet that accompanies ACIM. It also offers study groups in A Course in Miracles, pastoral counseling and individual enlightenment training. In addition to her Psychology papers and publications, Dr. Miller has published two books on miracles, one on soul mate relationships, and co-authored a test of sense of humor. Her previous books have been generously endorsed by Dr. Bernie Siegel, Dr. Willis Harmon, and Marianne Williamson.

From the bestselling author of Awareness and The Way to Love comes a classic reissue of lessons to inspire readers every day of the year. With more than two million books sold and countless admirers throughout the world, Anthony de Mello is regarded as one of the most influential religious teachers of the past fifty years. Since his death in 1987, widespread recognition of his work’s enduring value has continued to grow. In Awakening, de Mello explores “the wisdom that cannot be conveyed in human speech.” Through 365 meditations, blending the mystical traditions of both East and West, he creates the lessons of a profound “master” to his “pupil,” illustrating our common need for harmony and enlightenment. The daily parables, sometimes cryptic and often witty, are not meant so much to instruct as to awaken the understanding deep within the human heart.

This books contains the most advanced teachings of Jesus, channeled by Pablo in Hawaii in the nineties. It calls us to live constantly in the presence of Christ. This is a call to awakening, unique and pristine. In contrary to the "Conversations with God" which are based on the false assumption that God created duality in order to recreate himself, these teachings of Jesus consist of the simple truth that our father calls us home constantly. "Now, Pablo, as I indicated a little bit earlier today, all of the elements necessary for you to make the shift have already been brought into play over the past nine years. When you have been Listening and Hearing, what you have "heard" is the experience of Knowing. This has not been a gift from me to you, because I am not present as a separated presence to give you anything. It is time for you to understand clearly that you, as some inconsequential little twirp, have not been the recipient of a beneficent gift which therefore has had nothing to do with you. Rather, it has been a direct experience of your Self. As I have said, this "sidekick," this imaginary partner, called "Bumbling Pablo," is losing strength. Its seeming actuality is fading. Because of this there is a more strenuous effort arising to find out where you fit in, and who you are. As I also said, you cannot afford to pursue that quest...ion. You have been in the picture all along. The thinking which the fantasy partner or false sense of self has engaged in will be replaced with the Knowing which has been constituted of the direct experience of your Self. When it has seemed as though you were talking with me and drawing upon the infinite Knowing, you have been connected to You, and it has constituted the substance of You, even though as long as you were identifying with the fantasy sense of yourself it has seemed as though you were not connected with yourself and who you were was becoming less and less significant. Literally, graduation, here, is going to involve forsaking thinking, and Listening always. When you feel inclined to think, stop, and desire to Know. It is also important not to give too much attention to this apparent "questioner." The expression of desire to Know doesn't truly postulate the presence of a questioner, and this is a very important point to understand. The experience of the desire to Know is simply the means of giving permission to Know."

For almost two millennia, the story of Jesus has shaped the lives of countless people. Yet today, even though the majority of us grew up in a culture suffused by the mythos of Jesus, many of us feel disconnected from the essence of his teachings. With Resurrecting Jesus, Adyashanti invites us to rediscover the life and words of Jesus as a direct path to the most radical of transformations: spiritual awakening. Jesus crossed all of the boundaries that separated the people of his time because he viewed the world from the perspective of what unites us, not what divides us. In Resurrecting Jesus, Adya embarks on a fascinating reconsideration of the man known as Jesus, examining his life from birth to Resurrection to reveal a timeless model of awakening and enlightened engagement with the world. Through close consideration of the archetypal figures and events of the Gospels, Adya issues a call to “live the Christ” in a way that is unique to each of us. “When the eternal and the human meet,” writes Adya, “that’s where love is born—not through escaping our humanity or trying to disappear into transcendence, but through finding that place where they come into union.” Resurrecting Jesus is a book for realizing this union in your own life, with heart and mind wide open to the mystery inside us all. With an all-new foreword by Episcopalian priest and scholar Cynthia Bourgeault.

Growing up the son of agnostics, John Koessler saw a Catholic church on one end of the street and a Baptist on the other. In the no-man’s land between the two, this curious outside wondered about the God they worshipped—and began a lifelong search to comprehend the grace and mystery of God. A Stranger in the House of God addresses fundamental questions and struggles faced by spiritual seekers and mature believers. Like a contemporary Pilgrim’s Progress, it traces the author’s journey and explores his experiences with both charismatic and evangelical Christianity. It also describes his transformation from religious outsider to ordained pastor. John Koessler provides a poignant and often humorous window into the interior of the soul as he describes his journey from doubt and struggle with the church to personal faith
