The Conduct of the Persian Gulf War should be read by every U.S. military officer because it has certainly been read by the Chinese military. If you did not fight in Desert Storm, this makes interesting reading. The performance of the weaponry and the professionalism displayed by the coalition forces working together was not accidental. It took hard work and careful planning. This is not a lesson we should forget. This should be mandatory reading in all the U.S. service academies.
