We know much about the twelve Apostles. We know each one of their names, which are again and again repeated. But we don't know a single name of the seventy. The circumstances of the sending out of the twelve and of the seventy were deeply impressive. In the case of the twelve our Lord spent the whole night in prayer previous to their being sent forth, and their appointment seemed to fill His mind with great anxiety.
