This character mechanism II book has tools to help create descriptive character traits, flaws, thoughts, reactions, and relationships. The tools may be used separately, together, or selective. This meant to aid or take the place of a Gamemaster (GM) for creating dialogue and behavior. Relationships, thoughts, and behavior may vary by culture or region of the world. The current length is about 57 pages of charts, tables, and 3 engines. It has a hyperlink table of contents and electronic bookmark menu for navigation. This initial version focuses on digital-user features rather than printing-out-user. For example, it doesn’t have page numbers on the sheets for the moment. It does have a side bookmark for quick section navigation and hypertext table of contents. This book either suggest, or refer to tables (a few which are not included in this text) for character ideas, design, and actions. Its generic enough for any game or story genre characters. 57 pages: It's first page is the cover image shown on the thumbnail. Then one front matter pages for title page and copyright. The third and fourth page is a table of contents. And then one and a quarter page of overview. And then the sections begin. Some of the sections have clip-art images and a section title page. The nine products included in this book are as followed: Mechanism Master Screen (GM screen) Character Reaction Engine Emotional Reaction Generator Character Thinking Engine Thinking Generator Character Flaws Character Relationship Engine Social & Emotional Trait Generator Physical Trait Generator Mechanisms Master Screen - 6 page GM Screen covering important action & reaction scene tool information from both Character Mechanisms books and helping to connect the tools to the Story Mechanisms at a scene level.

Ozone, an important trace component, is critical to life on Earth and to atmospheric chemistry. The presence of ozone profoundly impacts the physical structure of the atmosphere and meteorology. Ozone is also an important photolytic source for HO radicals, the driving force for most of the chemistry that occurs in the lower atmosphere, is essential to shielding biota, and is the only molecule in the atmosphere that provides protection from UV radiation in the 250-300 nm region. However, recent concerns regarding environmental issues have inspired a need for a greater understanding of ozone, and the effects that it has on the Earth's atmosphere. The Mechanisms of Reactions Influencing Atmospheric Ozone provides an overview of the chemical processes associated with the formation and loss of ozone in the atmosphere, meeting the need for a greater body of knowledge regarding atmospheric chemistry. Renowned atmospheric researcher Jack Calvert and his coauthors discuss the various chemical and physical properties of the earth's atmosphere, the ways in which ozone is formed and destroyed, and the mechanisms of various ozone chemical reactions in the different spheres of the atmosphere. The volume is rich with valuable knowledge and useful descriptions, and will appeal to environmental scientists and engineers alike. A thorough analysis of the processes related to tropospheric ozone, The Mechanisms of Reactions Influencing Atmospheric Ozone is an essential resource for those hoping to combat the continuing and future environmental problems, particularly issues that require a deeper understanding of atmospheric chemistry.

Primary sexual traits, those structures and processes directly involved in reproduction, are some of the most diverse, specialized, and bizarre in the animal kingdom. Moreover, reproductive traits are often species-specific, suggesting that they evolved very rapidly. This diversity, long the province of taxonomists, has recently attracted broader interest from evolutionary biologists, especially those interested in sexual selection and the evolution of reproductive strategies. Primary sexual characters were long assumed to be the product of natural selection, exclusively. A recent alternative suggests that sexual selection explains much of the diversity of “primary” sexual characters. A third approach to the evolution of reproductive interactions after copulation or insemination has been to consider the process one of sexual conflict. That is, the reproductive processes of a species may reflect, as does the mating system, evolution acting on males and on females, but in different directions. In this volume, authors explore a wide variety of primary sexual characters and selective pressures that have shaped them, from natural selection for offspring survival to species-isolating mechanisms, sperm competition, cryptic female choice and sexual arms races. Exploring diverse reproductive adaptations from a theoretical and practical perspective, The Evolution of Primary Sexual Characters will provide an unparalleled overview of sexual diversity in many taxa and an introduction to the issues in sexual selection that are changing our view of sexual processes.
