Many a possessor of bundles of this paper still clings to them tenaciously, in the fond but delusive hopes of a final redemption, if not at their face value, still at a discount. Let but a collector appear among such with the desire to complete a series, suspicions are aroused, and this worth less stuff is carefully packed away as if it had a market value. The following lines, which have already appeared in newspaper columns and the American Journal of Numismatics, are deserving of a wider circulation.
