"Blue Life...Pink Heart" is an anthology of Shannon Leigh O'Shea's memoirs as a transgender woman (TS), and includes her unique vision of the transsexual condition, as well as how it affects her and others sharing the same fate. Her insights and personal experiences present the reader with a clear picture of the risks, rewards, and challenges that a transwoman can expect during and after transition. With in depth self-analysis of the physical, mental, and psychological aspects of being transsexual, Shannon presents her rationalization of the process, and as a transwoman, how she views the world in which she lives.

I didnt decide to write a poetry it just came to me, I have always loved poetry and literature. Poetry expresses the emotions inside of us that we cant express to a person rather it be love, sadness, disappointment or remorse. Poetry is the words that makes our hearts feel, but also teaches us, others whom listens to the poems. I believe in teaching children at a young age to express with words, I believe totally in communication in a marriage or relationship for when we hold it so much inside so why not write what I feel if I cant tell a person. I write of love for I have love. Love from God even if the neighbor hates me I write of love. I believe most f writing I express in words comes from being the third child I was shy as a child and in my marriage I never got to speak the way I felt, never was important towards the end of my marriage so I just shut down and wrote.

Twelve-year-old Lucy Desberg is a natural problem-solver. At her family’s struggling pharmacy, she has a line of makeover customers for every school dance and bat mitzvah. But all the makeup tips in the world won’t help save the business. If only she could find a way to make it the center of town again—a place where people want to spend time, like in the old days. Lucy dreams up a solution that could resuscitate the family business and help the environment, too. But will Lucy’s family stop fighting long enough to listen to a seventh-grader? In a starred review, Kirkus said this novel “successfully delivers an authentic and endearing portrait of the not-quite-teen experience,” and Booklist called it “a warm, uplifting debut.” Readers everywhere have responded to Lucy’s independence and initiative—not to mention her great style. Arthur W. Pink has become known as a masterful expositor of the Word of God. Both his expository works and some of his doctrinal works have long been in print. His deep concern for experimental Christianity and the practical Christian life, however, is not so well known. Yet he wrote many short series and single articles on what Scripture has to say about the inner man. And in writing these articles Pink expounded the Scriptures as penetratingly as he did in his expository and doctrinal writings. His practical Christianity, then, is not a collection of pious thoughts on the Christian life or a simple outline of Scripture, but a full treatment of the subject.
