Continuing the extract from the Blog (http://s201453435.onlinehome. Duane Andry us/); these are More Ravings of a Religious Fanatic. These topics are edgy--while maintaining spiritual accuracy--analyses of religious principles, practices and doctrine: Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword. (Matthew 10:34) Our destination is this: Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: (Ephesians 6:14-17) These are tools to strengthen the thrust of the sword of the Spirit. However, you cannot just repeat what you read here; rather, you must also apply Scripture: Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world. (1 John 4:1) Do not let circumstances push you to the point of accepting mediocrity in worship. Regardless of the challenge that faces you, stay strong in the Lord; keeping the example of the life of the apostle Paul in mind, as a reminder of the grace that allows us to overcome any contrary persuasion. And lest I should be exalted above measure through the abundance of the revelations, there was given to me a thorn in the flesh, the messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I should be exalted above measure. For this thing I besought the Lord thrice, that it might depart from me. And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christs sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong. (2 Corinthians 12:1-10)

The Internet is known for its ability to stimulate the mind; its time to use it beyond this limitation. The Internet can also be a very useful tool for stimulating the spirit. In fact, everything that exists in the world can be used to stimulate the spirit; why should the Internet receive an exemption. So, from now on, while you are sitting at that place of review; consider the following words of a great philosopher/theologian of our time. For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse: because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.

God. No other word invokes such a mix of logic and emotions in the world. Many want to understand Him, even among those who say they don't believe in Him. However, there is a special set of entities who want to take control of Him. This movement started a long time ago and even has a sponsor for it: or should I say that it has selected a sponsor in spite of him. His reputation has been enhanced and magnified far beyond anything that even he would recognize, and especially far beyond the mission that he was assigned by the Great Teacher. Here we will explore this movement and try to come to some understanding of why they have chosen this path.

In 1985 The WELL, a dial-up discussion board, began with the phrase: You own your own words. Though almost everything else about online discussion has changed in the two decades since, those words still describe its central premise, and this basic idea underlies both the power and the popularity of blogging today. Appropriately enough, it also describes American journalism as it existed a century and a half before The WELL was organized, before the concept of popular involvement in the press was nearly swept away on the rising tide of commercial and professional journalism. In this book, which is the first to provide readers with a cultural/historical account of the blog, as well as the first to analyze the different aspects of this growing phenomenon in terms of its past, Aaron Barlow provides lay readers with a thorough history and analysis of a truly democratic technology that is becoming more important to our lives every day. The current popularity of political blogs can be traced back to currents in American culture apparent even at the time of the Revolution. At that time there was no distinct commercial and professional press; the newspapers, then, provided a much more direct outlet for the voices of the people. In the nineteenth century, as the press became more commercial, it moved away from its direct involvement with politics, taking on an observer stance—removing itself from the people, as well as from politics. In the twentieth century, the press became increasingly professional, removing itself once more from the general populace. Americans, however, still longed to voice their opinions with the freedom that the press had once provided. Today, blogs are providing the means for doing just that.
