If he is to save his ranch from an unscrupulous banker and politician, he must be able to collect the reward offered on Black Fury, and on the Killer Grizzly, "The Widowmaker", that has terrorized the ranchers, killing two men, as well as multiple raids on sheep, cattle, and even horses. With Austin's men trying to kill him and being stalked by a giant killer grizzly, it's all Emery Perry can do to survive long enough to spoil Austin's plans, and to collect the Association's rewards for Black Fury and "The Widowmaker", the giant killer grizzly. Emery has to have the bounties to save his ranch from the corrupt Austin.
