Not only does the public school sys tem rank with the best, but in and around Asheville are located some of the best schools in the South, among which may be mentioned Asheville University, Bingham and Ashe ville School for Boys, St. Genevieve's College for girls, Cecil Business College and others. At Asheville is conducted a summer Normal School with a large attendance from every section of the country.
