They have served me well; in healing my emotional wounds, which I say we all have our share, while travelling through our life’s paths. None of us are immune to it, but then at the end we need to remind ourselves that "a luminous ray of hope awaits at the other end."

This is my fourth published book, but second poetry book. My style of writing is no "Roses are red, violets are blue", nor is it "I know why the caged bird sings", or "The Weary Blues". It's definitely not love in the air and/or explaining why the river flows. Nothing against those styles or genres, I just don't fall under any of those categories. In fact, I'm glad I don't. Everyone seems to be confined to boxes, titles and labels. I've just never been that chick. What may work for me today, may not work for me tomorrow.
