Following the oration four Kingston boys, soldiers of the great war, lifted from the monument the honored flag, bring ing to view a piece of New Hampshire granite of fine propor tions, in which is imbedded a bronze tablet, beautiful for its simplicity and sentiment of respect to all-who have honored Kingston. Again we desire to allude to the principal donors, the Help ing Hand Club, who first suggested the erection of a monu ment, and by untiring efforts and perseverance have seen it completed, and to them the Town accords due appreciation.
