Under these circum stances, no separate Dean's report seemed needed, and none has been attempted. The report owes much at every point to the care ful and thoughtful assistance of the Secretary of the College. The time naturally covered by this report is the college year 1901-02; but the writers of all the other reports have found it practically impossible to avoid referring to the new conditions at the opening of the present college year.
