The queries ranged from simple reference questions to complex problems involving research and full bibliographic documentation. The staff responded to more than reference queries in 197 2 compared to over in 1971. In addition to direct service the library supplied 374 interlibrary loan requests from other libraries in 1972 as compared with 327 in 1971; in 1972 the Library borrowed from other libraries 352 items compared to 294 in 1971.
