This book will give you great insight into why many people have gone for deliverance ministrations, fasted, gone for all night meetings and yet the evidence is yet to be seen. This is an attempt to give answer and insight to too many questions in the minds of people. When we destroy the old altar through deliverance ministrations, it becomes mandatory for us to raise a new altar with sacrifices for us to move to the next level or provoke evidence. An altar is a raised or designated place where sacrifices are made to deities. It is a place where humanity meets with divinity. Biblical altars were generally structures of earth (Ex. 20:24) or hewn stones (Ex. 20:25) on which sacrifices were offered. They were generally erected in conspicuous places (Gen. 22:19) Thank God for His faithfulness, the book you are holding in your hands will provide answers to many questions in your life.

The book deals with the subject of the Tabernacle and its two altars. The study seeks to apply the concepts of these two altars to churches and individual Christians of today. The study deals with salvation, and priesthood. We enter into the Holy place before God and because of God for a purpose. Our place is in front of the Golden Altar where we are to praise God, pray, supplicate and intercede for others. Dr. Robert Elam is now a retired missionary living in Florida after spending thirty-six years on the mission field of Brazil. There he worked with the people in starting churches and teaching in Bible Institutes. He has taught the Tabernacle, one of his favorite subjects, from entrance to the mercy seat several times and has used the material time after time to witness to people about their need for salvation. He is listed in the Princeton Premier Business Leaders and Professional catalogue for 2008-2009-2010 listings. He has taught from coast to coast and has written essays on several subjects, one being printed on the site (CreationDesign.org.): "The Body-an Engineering Masterpiece." Another series of lectures was written on Evolution: A Perfect Creation verses a Continual Evolution. Dr; Robert Elam has created and taught courses like Comparative Theology and Baptist History: reading between the lines of History. Dr. Elam graduated from Baptist Bible College in 1967 after studying three years in Electrical Engineering at the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque. Seeing the need to get a more advanced degree, Robert went to the Louisiana Baptist University in Shreveport and finished his Masters in 2000 and his doctorate in 2002. He has also translated this book into Portuguese and desires to publish the book in Brazil.

We all have dreams, talents, gifts and destinies to fulfill. Many times we live unfulfilled dreams because we have not yet ignited nor maintained the fire on our personal altar. Having repeatedly seen this sad occurrence, I was burdened to study the bible with a burning desire to find out why this happens even after the Lord may have given a sure word of prophecy to His children. I diligently read the bible to find out solutions which we can apply to our lives to curb the tendency where an alarmingly high number of people never get to fulfill their destinies. One of the biggest strategies the devil uses to destroy a believer's life is to ensure the fire on their personal altar dies down. One needs to know that the sole purpose of building an altar of sacrifice in God's kingdom is not to offer up animal sacrifice but rather to have a quiet place of one-to-one communication with God. It is here that a believer can ask forgiveness of sins, a factor which separates man from God and thereafter proceed to worship Him. Building an altar of sacrifice means you having a sacred or consecrated place of worship and adoration with God Almighty. It is sad to know some believers do not have a personal altar of sacrifice. On the other hand, quite a number of those who have do not take time to keep the fire burning on their altar. Every believer needs to have their private altar of sacrifice and ensure that it is kept burning day and night throughout their lifetime. The specified and acceptable sacrifice to be offered in your altar to God is the sacrifice of a burnt-offering of ADORATION and INCENSE of PRAISE. As the altar of incense burns every morning and evening, so is God expecting your prayers and praises to be raised every time from your altar. If the fire in your altar of sacrifice goes off, your altar becomes dormant and falls into ruins rendering your guiding angel ineffective while at the same time, giving the Devil the opportunity to mess up your life. It is obvious we do ourselves harm if we do not tend daily to our altars to keep the fire burning.

The Holy Spirit has become a stranger. Many long for a closer walk with God, but He seems far away. They go to church. They read the Bible. But they don't experience His presence. Why? Because many have forsaken the altar--the place where God is found. When we truly encounter Him again, the light and power of God will flow to our homes, then to our houses of worship, then to the nation, and we will never be the same. In Rebuilding the Altar authors Pat and Karen Schatzline passionately challenge you to return to the altar. You see, the altar is not just a physical location or an instrument in a church or synagogue. Through Christ we can experience a daily encounter with Jesus, who became our altar. We must declare this truth to the deceived. We must raise a standard of holiness and no compromise. We must bring hope to the hurting. It's time for change. It's time to return to the altar...and encounter God.

Having spent over two decades in the prophetic and healing ministry, I have come to realize that a significant number of Christians suffer due to their lack of understanding of the impact of altars on their destiny. Hosea 4:6 reminds us that a lack of knowledge leads to destruction. This book delves into the various types of altars and their significance to your destiny, highlighting the unmatched power of God's Altar over all others. The relationship between altars and covenants is explored, and readers are equipped with the knowledge needed to break the power of evil and satanic altars in their lives. Evil altars give rise to satanic patterns and afflictions, making it crucial for Christians to grasp the functioning of all types of altars, especially God's Altar, in order to overcome and destroy any demonic strongholds operating in their lives.
