Over the past few decades, agriculture and related sectors in West Africa have been challenged by climate change, which has become one of the most important developmental issues in the region. As such, elucidating those vulnerabilities and sources of strength with regard to the adaptive capacities needed to support successful adaptation and avoid maladaptation is critical for future policy formulation.
