Robert Abell (d.1663), son of George and Frances Abell, immigrated in 1630 from England to Charlestown, Massachusetts, probably in the fleet of Governor Winthrop. Robert's wife was named Joanna, and they were probably married in England. Descendants and relatives lived in New England, New York, Pennsylvania, Illinois, Wisconsin, California and elsewhere. Some descendants immigrated to Ontario and elsewhere in Canada. Includes much ancestry and genealogical data to 1066 A.D. in England.
