The purpose of this project was to gain an educational experience as an effective school leader in leadership, management, and supervision. The application of the Interstate School Leaders Licensure Consortium (ISLLC) Standards provided educational theory as well as research that supported the planning, implementation, and evaluation of the activities. The practicum experience took place at Burlington County Institute of Technology (BCIT) High School in Westampton, New Jersey, during the 2004-2005 school year. The leadership skills developed included curriculum evaluation, staff development, teacher evaluations, and management tasks. Each activity documented dates, theory, and research in a journal format.
